As we all know it's "Fettisdagen"



On "Fettisdagen" we eat what we call a "Semla" (picture). Its white bread in two pieces with whiped cream and almond icing in the middle. it's a Swedish tradision and I like it, serve it dry on a plate or with hot milk in a bowl.

"Semlan" was first eaten a long time ago, but not at the same way we do today. Often they ate old bread and to soften it up they ate it with warm water or warm milk.


I do realy like this cake and I usually eat it on this specifc day.
